Nattynooks
Hands resting over black cotton no-show socks by a sunlit window

Most socks are plastic.These aren't.

Below is everything that separates Nattynooks from any other sock you've ever worn:

Your Feet
  • 500,000 pores between them
  • Among the highest pore density on your body
  • Pores are direct entry points into your body
Your Socks
  • Almost all are made of synthetic (plastic) fibers or conventional cotton
  • Plastic is petroleum-based
  • Those fibers press against every one of those pores, all day, inside a hot humid shoe
  • Synthetic socks shed microplastics through constant friction
  • Regular cotton carries farming chemicals like glyphosate and pesticides

Why does this matter?

Those chemicals are in contact with your skin for 12 to 15 hours a day, every single day. Microplastic particles also leach chemicals into your sweat that cross the skin barrier and have been found accumulating in human organs and brains at concentrations 50% higher than a decade ago. That exposure compounds quietly over months and years.

Months
  • ~1 Week

You show up with more energy for the things that matter. Sleep comes easier and you wake up feeling it. The mental fog starts to lift.

  • ~1 Month

Your mood is steadier. You handle stress without feeling as beaten down by it. Your body is doing its job with less interference.

  • ~3 Months

Hormones are more balanced. Your skin reflects it. People notice something different about you even if they can't place it.

  • ~6 Months

Your immune system is resilient in a way it wasn't before. Daily chemical accumulation is one of the quieter drivers of how fast the body ages. Six months of removing it from the equation, and you're aging on a different trajectory.

The outcomes above are connected to real, documented research. Most of it is recent, and most people haven't seen it yet.  See the Studies

"Organic" on the label. Synthetics against your skin.

The organic label only requires 70% organic content. That remaining 30% is typically uncertified petroleum-based fibers. Buried in the fine print.

The Process

Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Explained

How the material gets cleaned and certified

  • 1
    Raw fiber

Synthetic fiber arrives carrying manufacturing residue. Glyphosate, BPA, pesticides, phthalates, formaldehyde, azo dyes, heavy metals, and more.

  • 2
    Extraction

That residue is extracted before production. Heat, pressure, and hot water washing draw it out of the fiber.

  • 3
    Lab testing

What remains is sent to an independent lab and tested against 1,000+ known harmful substances.

  • 4
    Certified or rejected

Only fibers that clear every test receive Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification.

Nothing hidden.Every fiber, every certification.

Our 3% Synthetics Never Touch Your Skin. Here's How:

  • 1
    Cleaned

The tiny 3% goes through the same cleaning process above. The stretch stays. The chemicals don't.

  • 2
    Covered

Certified clean cotton wraps fully around it at the yarn level. A complete barrier between the fiber and your skin.

Either way —3% is effectively nothing. But even at that percentage, it's already been stripped of everything that shouldn't be there.
